Exit FullscreenDrednot.io is an aerial warfare io game with 2D graphics. Build a flying battleship with a team and put it to the test. Pilot your ship, man turrets, build, and craft your way to the top of the leaderboard. There are many ways to play the game: You can build a dreadnought with dozens of guns and a large crew, or a small and maneuverable vessel for only your friends. You can choose to fight other ships for their loot, or peacefully farm bots and mine. When you first spawn into your ship, you should make sure your turrets are loaded. Move with WASD and Space. Grab a box of ammo by clicking, then click on your turrets. Items can be dropped by pressing Q. Craft new items using your fabricator. You should probably stock up on extra ammo and shield boosters. You can also craft ship embiggeners to make your ship larger and give yourself more room for fabricators, cargo, and turrets. To pilot your ship, click on the orange helm wheel. Your view will zoom out. Control your zoom by scrolling or by pressing C. Move using WASD. The orange RC turrets can be aimed and fired from the helm by clicking, but other turrets must be controlled manually. You can press Space to exit the helm, but when starting out you should find some bots (the large red circles) and shoot at them for materials. These materials can be loaded into your fabricator, which will allow you to craft more items. To control who gets to join your ship, use the “Team Manager” menu. This is only available to captains, and will allow you to ban users you don't want on your ship, copy an invite link that can allow your friends to quickly join, and control whether your team is public or invite-only. Managing your ship's shields is important. They will passively regenerate, but you can use shield boosters to quickly repair them. When they reach zero, a 30 second critical timer will start. If your shields are not repaired within this time, your ship will be destroyed. Ships without crew will also be destroyed after 60 seconds, unless they are in a safe zone and have more that 10,000 points, in which case they will be saved. Saved ships will not survive server restarts, but they should allow you to safely leave the game for a few hours. Most items can be crafted, but more advanced weapons can only be obtained as rare drops from bots, or by mining. Breaker ammo is used to mine by breaking world blocks. Blocks with a diamond symbol contain rare loot, but normal blocks can drop metal. Choosing the type of ammo to use is important. Standard ammo has a faster reload time, but is pretty boring. Scattershot ammo has a wide spread, but does decent damage at close range. Sniper ammo flies in a straight line, but can bounce off walls and damage the shooter. Flak ammo does a very large amount of damage if you can aim it well. Trash ammo is free to craft which is useful when low on materials. Punch and Yank ammo are good for pushing around other ships and objects in the overworld. Breaker ammo is very slow, but does decent damage and can be used to mine out blocks. Discover tricks to optimize your ship's layout, such as building a designated cargo hold for loot, or a container for items produced by your fabricators. The game is updated frequently (roughly once a week!) so there is always something to look forward to. For more up-to-date help, use the in-game “Help” and “Quick Start” buttons.
